"Sigh* God wasn't this a delicious read! This was one of those stories that enticed me to such an extent that I was unable to think of any of the minor details. I had to go back to check upon intricaicies. The plot flowed seamlessly: the characters were well thought out and we had the amazing bonus of an absolutely praiseworthy heroine. Valik is the male lead of our dreams! He is endearing as the gentle, well mannered Prince who manages to lay claim to our tragic heroine's heart. Valik is tough when he wants to be, and oh so handsome! I specifically liked the fact that the author doesn't shy away from showcasing his weaknesses (not every male lead has to have impermeable armour.) Added to the equation is our firey, tortured female lead-Sophia. She deals with her own demons in aa way that proves her spirit! I loved the healing process they both go through, together. The prose is beautiful and the dictation reflects the period, the backdrop against which the story takes place. Jessie Denton is a well-developed character, a symbol of the lower class, the runt of the litter that knows hardship and pain, and that learns to survive through cunning. I enjoyed the focused writing, the emotional depth of the story, and the historical details that transport readers to a different time and culture. ~Romuald Dzemo ~ Reviewer and avid reader.
M.L. Taylor is exceptional in taking a topic, such as a nobleman falling for a poor girl, and twisting it to create a work all of its own. You will find Follow Her Heart is more than just a romance novel to enjoy as you become entwined in the lives of these two characters. The author's ability to weave suspense within the storyline generates a web of possibilities as Jessie and Lucian's future unfolds. In my reading, if an author has the ability to make a reader want to cry, laugh, or get their heart racing, they are a good author; this book was more than good, it is outstanding. M.L. Taylor ends Follow Her Heart with the feeling there must be another book to tell the other half of Jessie's nightmares that haunted her.

If you read “Follow her heart”, you have to read “Rescue her heart”, the story starts with a bang, and continues where the first booked ended.
It’s the anticipated love story between Jaylon and Aniela, how their love survives a deep dark secret, so twisted, that you can not put the book down until you have read the last word, and even then you want more, can not wait to read the third book of the series. His Falling Heart ~ I really loved this story. I was completely hooked from the very beginning. The relationship between Brydon and Lylianna is very much a love hate relationship that was very evident from a very early age. I could not wait to see what they would do next. This is part of a series but can easily be read as a stand alone. This is the first one I have read in this series but will be going back to read the first three books in the series.

I realized at a young age that writing was a lifelong passion of mine. I have these stories that run through my head and I can't rest until I put them on paper, bringing them to life.
I come from the Pittsburgh Pa area, where the normal is watching the Steelers on Sundays and cheering for the Penguins several days of the week.
My husband and I have raised three daughters, two golden retrievers, and one
Jack Russell Terrier.
Writing and traveling the world is my passion. Stonehenge is by far a historical site I think everyone should try and see someday.
